Joseph Smith prayed for a scribe and the Lord sent Oliver Cowdery. Getting Joseph and Oliver together was simply another miracle the Lord provided in bringing forth the Book of Mormon. Oliver’s questions, and the answers provided in these Sections are so relevant today. It’s as if Sections 6-9 were written as council to the Latter-day Saints of 2021! I have been away from church activity for almost 30 years ( excommunicated 1991 ) .. I discovered Tom PETTIT’s BEYOND COME FOLLOW ME as 2021 studies of D&C began. I appreciate Tom’s insight is it helping to feed my hunger for the things I have been missing during my walk “off the straight and narrow path. ” I just completed a thorough enjoyment of Jan.25,2021 (D&C 6-9 ) and loved it because Bro. Pettit expressed things that reminded of the times I initially received similar spiritual witnesses as detailed in these sections.. Thanks .

I’m trying to find in this video the story you related about how long it took to translate the BofM into Japanese, and how many translators it took. I just found it so interesting in regards to how relatively fast Joseph and Oliver translated the BofM. Thank you. I really enjoy your YouTube Channel!

I don’t think I shared that story, but it is a good one. The translators were able to do one page a day, knowing both languages, working with a team, and use of the internet. Joseph and Oliver were doing 8 pages a day!
