In this weeks episode of Beyond Come Follow Me, I teach the historical context behind these revelations. At a special conference in Hiram, Ohio, the Lord reveals these four revelations. Contained within them are specific instructions to help us know how to serve the Lord and the wonderful blessings that can be ours for diligently serving Him. Also, a brief history of John Whitmer.
D&C 64-66: Beyond Come Follow Me
Joseph and Emma move to the John & Elsa Johnson home in Hiram, OH where they will live for one year. These three revelations, along with many others were received in the upstairs bedroom of this home. Personal apostacy continues in Kirtland, but John Taylor has an experience that teaches a powerful lesson which was relevant then and even more so today for when we find it hard to “doubt our doubts”. Plus, the Lord reveals his true identity as a loving, merciful Savior who is anxious to help us.

Some men who had been called to go with Joseph to Missouri were now being called back to Kirtland. The Lord admonishes them to be faithful to the commandment to preach the gospel to all those they meet.
Here I tell some interesting stories about their journey back to Kirtland, and some stories of those first healed by the power of the priesthood.

A BIG announcement and a BIG invitation for the Beyond Come Follow Me community.
This week, the Lord provides words of comfort and promised blessings to the Coleville Branch that has relocated to Zion in Jackson County, Missouri. Knowing a little something of who they were and what trials they had been through can help us better hear the Lord speaking to us in our day through these two revelations.
Plus, join me on a walking tour of some of the Church History Sites a the end of this week’s video.
