2 Kings 17-25: Beyond Come Follow Me
This week’s Come Follow Me lesson is HUGE! These chapters explain what “scattered Israel” and “the lost tribes” actually mean. I connect these explanations with Lehi’s prophecies of Israel being scattered and with Nephi’s prophecy that one day Israel will be gathered again. By adding President Nelson’s teachings of gathering Israel and moving along the Covenant Path, we can truly see the big picture and how we can be a part of Heavenly Father’s ultimate plan to invite all to come back to live with him.
2 Kings 2-7: Beyond Come Follow Me
The miracles which Elisha the Prophet performed are some of the most wonderous miracles of the Old Testament. These miracles helps those of the Old Testament learn of the power and majesty of God. Today, as we read these miracles, we can better understand how the power of a loving Heavenly Father can bless our daily life.
1 Kings 17-19: Beyond Come Follow Me
Beyond Come Follow Me: Judges
Three amazing stories are included in this week’s Come Follow me reading assignment. All three give us insight as to how we can come closer to the Lord and better serve Him. Particularly, the story of Samson’s strength to save Israel can be a parallel to the strength we can have to save Israel today.
