The fascinating stories of Warren Cowdery and Lyman Sherman. Along with some interesting “firsts” that happened in Kirtland.
In "Beyond Come Follow Me", I tell the Church history stories that relate to this week's Come Follow Me lessons. Knowing what was going on in Church history at the time, and what Joseph was praying for, can really help the revelations come to life, and help them become applicable to our own lives.
D&C 102-105: Beyond Come Follow Me
This week in Beyond Come Follow Me, I tell the story of Zion’s Camp. Only with Heaven’s help, and many miracles, was this band of rescuers even able to make the journey to Missouri. D&C 98-101: Beyond Come Follow Me
D&C 94-97: Beyond Come Follow Me
This week in Beyond Come Follow Me, I tell some of my most favorite stories from Church History! In these sections, the Lord reminds Joseph Smith of the commandment to build the Kirtland Temple.
